Lull Before The Storm 1997
For quite a few years Kyra has shown her talents around the pub/club
circuit, always aiming to keep her audience and following happy
with a huge range of covers and originals. She can sing most styles
of music with ease but her favorite is Rock, and among the covers
you will normally witness the strapping on of her 12-string guitar
and Cowboy Hat for her rendition of “Wanted Dead Or Alive”
and “Blaze Of Glory” Bon Jovi, or the unforgettable,
“Sweet Child O’Mine” Guns N’ Roses which
never fails to shock.
One of the most common requests among those familiar with Kyra’s
show has to be “Oh Darling,” originally sang by Paul
McCartney whilst with “The Beatles.” Kyra uses her
one of a kind voice to cry out this bluesy love song and again
gives it the magic touch that sends shivers up the spine. “Oh
Darling” is currently being recorded for McCartney’s
“MPL Communications.”
“Lull Before The Storm” features well-known covers
by various artists including “Oh Darling.” Also, an
exclusive bonus track, “The Chase,” composed and produced
by Kyra Bernice. The album was influenced by the fans enjoyment
of listening to Kyra’s portrayal of their favorite songs.
This naturally led to a big call for her original music. And with
voluminous amounts of original material, it was time to get something
down.
